This promotion is available for new bookings and existing groups, meeting and event enquiries (which are currently being negotiated) which are booked between 26 February 2024 and 30 June 2024 and consumed by 30 September 2024. An event contract must be signed with a participating hotel on or before 30 June 2024 for the terms of this Promotion to be valid and details of this Promotion must be included in the contract. The Promotion is not valid if a group, meeting or event is cancelled or rescheduled to a date after 30 September 2024. Promotion is not available for repeat bookings and does not apply to groups, meetings or events bookings which are contracted prior to 26 February 2024 or which are made in conjunction with another promotional offer. Promotion is subject to availability, exclusions and black-out dates may apply and all bookings are subject to terms included in the hotel contract.

There are three components to the Meet for a Reason Promotion as follows:

Component one: 5% off accommodation & catering bill

Rebate includes 5% off the accommodation and catering bill, at the discretion of the hotel, for consumed guest rooms, non-labor, food and beverage and catering, and meeting room rental charges. Rebate excludes third party charges such as outsourced or contracted audio visual, florists or décor third party vendors. All other charges on the master account folio must be paid in full, and do not qualify for the discount. Food & beverage minimums may apply.

Component two: 2X Business Rewards points – available for bookings before 31 December 2024

With 2X IHG Business Rewards, you can earn double points when booking meetings, weddings or rooms – up to a total of 120,000 IHG One Rewards points per event. The terms of the 2X Business Rewards can be found here.

IHG Business Rewards members earn points on group bookings for qualifying groups, meetings and events bookings subject to IHG One Rewards Club membership terms and condition found here.

Component three: Donation of meals to IHG Charity Partners

For every USD $5,000 of confirmed and consumed revenue from bookings made at Australian & South Pacific properties under this Promotion from 26 February 2024 and 30 June 2024, IHG will donate USD $25 (the equivalent of 50 meals) to OzHarvest.
