Cvent to Celebrate Headquarters Expansion with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony by Senator Mark Warner

Expansion to Support Continued, Aggressive Growth; Company Plans to Hire 190 in 2011

March 31, 2011 – NEW YORK and MCLEAN, VA – Cvent, the world's largest provider of web survey, online event management, and meeting site selection solutions, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) on Friday, April 1, to celebrate the company's newly expanded headquarters in McLean, Va. Cvent plans to hire 190 new employees this year, of which 100 will be based in McLean. The new 24,300 square-foot office space will accommodate these new hires, and adds to the 30,000 square-feet the company occupies throughout the building. Cvent employs more than 800 people worldwide.

"I am thrilled that Cvent is expanding and adding new office space and workers in McLean," said Sen. Warner. "Cvent is a great example of a homegrown company that is driving job creation in Virginia through hard work and innovation. Businesses like Cvent continue to prove that Virginia is a business-friendly state and a world-class technology hub."

Cvent's headquarters expansion comes on the heels of the company's most successful year yet in 2010, during which Cvent achieved annual revenue growth of 41 percent despite a still-recovering economic climate, signed more than 3,000 new customers and hired 200 net new employees.

"The past few years have been very exciting for Cvent, as we've truly grown into a leader in the event management and web survey software markets. We're honored to have Sen. Warner help us formally dedicate our newly-expanded facilities, which provide much-needed space for our continued growth," said Reggie Aggarwal, Cvent's Founder and CEO.

Cvent currently has more than 30 positions open across all departments, including technology, client services, sales and marketing. For a list of openings and more information on joining the Cvent team, please visit the Cvent Careers page.
