Cvent Brings Leading Industry Conferences to Las Vegas in June

Company to host Cvent Connect, a collaboration of three high impact events to help thousands of attendees across the meetings & events industry achieve success

Tysons Corner, Va. - Cvent, Inc. (NYSE: CVT), a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform, today announced the date and location of Cvent Connect. The company will be hosting three conferences at the same time during the span of a week. The five day event will take place in Las Vegas from June 14-18 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

“The theme for Cvent Connect this year is to optimize meeting and event success,” said Eric Eden, vice president of marketing at Cvent. “We’ve recognized planners and hoteliers work within a connected ecosystem. Both need to get the most out of their technology investment and business processes. Collaborating with both sides of the supply chain is the best way to deliver value, streamline processes and gain actionable business insight. Our goal is to bring together nearly 2,000 power users to participate in over 100 forward leaning educational discussions with peers, share best practices and network with like-minded professionals.”

In previous years, Cvent has hosted separate conferences for planners and hoteliers. This year, the company will be offering three different experiences to choose from that tailor to the needs of enterprise users, product specialists, suppliers and hospitality professionals.

  • Group Business (June 14-16): Discussions and best practices for hotels on how to adapt and convert with the latest trends in group business, evolve your group sales and marketing strategies, and navigate through this highly competitive process of winning meeting business in the hospitality industry.
  • Corporations (June 16-18): Conversations and presentations around the latest ideas and innovations from the meeting and events industry, including developing a business case for a meetings management program, B2B event marketing and gaining business insight through data from events and meetings.
  • Associations (June 16-18): Discussions focused on incorporating the latest event marketing tactics to increase member and donor attendance, non-dues revenue and leveraging technology to more effectively manage events and drive engagement.

During the third day of Cvent Connect, attendees from each of the three different experiences will have the opportunity to collaborate for a full day of learning, networking and deal making. In addition, Cvent professional training and certification will be available for both planners and suppliers throughout the conference.

“MGM Grand is delighted to welcome the Cvent User Community to our resort for the very first time, and to show off the unequaled integration of our resort amenities with our versatile and unique meeting and convention footprint,” said Gregg Herning, vice president of sales for MGM Grand. “Our company is a key sponsor of the event, and having a long history partnering with Cvent, we look forward to hosting Cvent Connect and making it the best-ever experience for the participants.”

Over the next months, Cvent will provide more details on keynote speakers, complete agenda and our 3rd annual Planner Awards. For more information about the 2015 Cvent Connect conference and to take advantage of early bird registration please visit our website.
